One day my friend Karen Abend, an American illustrator who joined
my Yoga Studio in Sicily, inspired me to write down my teachings
I share with my students while they are moving through the postures,
Yoga Asana, during class. She appreciated my unique way of relating
our daily mental struggles to the difficulties we encounter on
the mat, my passionate talks about Yoga wisdom that take the
practitioner beyond the physical experience, and the tools for life
she took home after each class.
“If we diminish the word Yoga to a purely physical practice on
the mat, we miss out on a crucial aspect“.
Each Asana not only has an effect on our physical bodies, but also
has an underlying connection with some aspect of our lives,
relationships, and spiritual selves. Nowadays, body image and
competition seem to play a big role in Yoga, even though the actual
aim of Yoga is to distance yourself from your body and mind so that
you can live in total freedom.
I feel that it is my duty to honor the full scope of Yoga’s sacred wisdom and to share it with my students. It is my duty to teach them not only about their bodies, but especially how to balance their minds in daily life because this is the ultimate
goal of YOGA COACHING.
We have the unique opportunity to apply the tools that Yoga and Coaching
offer us to achieve “mastery of our mind”, so that we can balance our mind, make
peace with our past, and lead a fulfilling life now. Being flexible, strong, or feeling
relaxed after a Yoga class alone does not really allow us to fully benefit from
the wider scope that Yoga has to offer us: tools to improve our relationships
and quality of life.

Yoga Coaching is an invitation to explore a vision of life that is
based on the idea taught to us by the ancient Yogi masters – that you
are a divine soul, coming from a dimension of unconditional peace.
You have been given the opportunity to live a human experience on this
planet, and were gifted a human body as your vehicle and a human
mind as your instrument.
The goal is for us to enjoy total freedom, which can only be achieved
when we accept that our inner peace and the state of our inner
world does not depend on life events or how others treat us. When we
embrace the perspective that we are not our bodies or our minds, but divine souls that have been granted the great gift of spending a short period
of time in a human body, equipped with a human mind, we are
able to approach life differently.
I want you to remember that you are here to enjoy this gift, to make the
best out of it, and that this is only possible when you learn how to use
your instruments, your body & mind.
My intention behind YOGA COACHING is not to create another yoga style based on sequencing of postures, breathing exercises and deep relaxation, but an invitation for Yoga Teachers, Practitioners and Seekers of the Truth, to dive deeper into YOGA AS A LIFE COACHING APPROACH.
Everybody can practice, ON THE MAT while establishing a meaningful connection with the postures as forms of spiritual practice and guiding tools for mastering this human experience or OFF THE MAT following the path, Yoga and Coaching lay out for us to WIN THE GAME OF LIFE.
